New Al Sahab Video Shows Aftermath Of Attack On U.S. Convoy in Afghanistan

(Al Sahab )
Al-Qaeda's media wing, As-Sahab, released a short clip showing a US humvee set on fire by the Mujahideen following an attack on a US convoy in Wardak. The video is from the series known as "The American Inferno in Khorassan," and was dated April 2008.
Al Sahab Foundation is the official global mouthpiece of al-Qaeda. Its main role is to convey al-Qaeda Organization's views to the world. It exclusively handles all the video and audio releases of al-Qaeda leaders, especially Osama Bin Laden and Ayman al-Zawahri. As-Sahab Foundation for Islamic Media Production came to prominence in October 2000 when it released the video of al-Qaeda attack on the USS Cole in the Gulf of Aden. Since its formation, al-Qaeda media production standard improved dramatically and US-born Adam Ghadan is rumored to have been instrumental in the introduction of subtitles to its releases.
