A source close to Mr. Clinton confirmed the cameo to People magazine on Sunday. According to the report, he shot the cameo on Saturday in Bangkok, Thailand, where part of the film's production takes place. Mr. Clinton was in the city to deliver a speech on clean energy.

The original "Hangover," which starred Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis and Justin Bartha, featured a memorable appearance by Mike Tyson.

Mel Gibson was to make a similar cameo in the sequel, but his appearance was scrapped due to complaints from the cast and crew. He was replaced by Liam Neeson.
