The FBI said that along with the Daytona Beach Police Department agents executed a search warrant at the Desert Inn Resort, in connection to a child pornography and rape investigation.

Police said they arrested Dennis Devlin, the "self-proclaimed" owner of the hotel, and that federal charges may be coming.

Last month, the Desert Inn Resort was named third dirtiest hotel by travel website, Tripadvisor.

"The evidence here is going to lead the investigation and the FBI to other victims that are in here," Police Chief Mike Chitwood told CBS affiliate WKMG.

A second arrest was made later on Wednesday, of 20-year-old Michael Ehman. Police said Ehman lured a 13-year-old boy to the hotel and that Devlin paid Ehman and the boy to commit sex acts while he videotaped them.

Chitwood said he cannot say exactly what happened inside the hotel now that the FBI is involved, but did say Devlin, 57, is being investigated for possible child abuse, exploitation and pornography involving at least one victim.

FBI agents removed cell phones and computers from the hotel, where Devlin works and lives.

"I think he uses the hotel as a front to perpetrate other crimes, sex crimes that are occurring," Chitwood said.
