(CBS/AP) "Two and a Half Men" star Charlie Sheen has walked on the wild side, pushed the limits, and tested the patience of his bosses for a long time. But it was a violence-tinged and anti-Semitic radio rant that helped push him over the edge and, finally, forced CBS and Warner Bros. Television to pull the plug on his show.

In a one-sentence joint statement Thursday, the companies said they were ending production on television's No. 1 comedy series for the season, a decision based on the "totality of Charlie Sheen's statements, conduct and condition."

Sheen took to the radio this week to rant about his qualms with the production of his CBS TV show, "Two and a Half Men," as reports surface that the actor has a new woman in his life: Natalie "Natty Baby" Kenly.

The actor let loose on "Two and a Half Men" co-creator Chuck Lorre, telling radio host Alex Jones, "I embarrassed him in front of his children and the world by healing at a pace that his unevolved mind cannot process."

In the interview, Sheen claimed he wanted to return to work but was barred by producers of "Two and a Half Men."

In response, CBS and Warner Bros. Television said they are halting production on the show for the season.

According to E!, Sheen and Kenly have been dating for about three months and are currently in the Bahamas together - along with another Sheen girlfriend, Bree Olsen.

Kenly is the "premiere model" for the magazine "Cali Chronic X," an editor of the magazine told E! She was also named the pot magazine's "Official Chronic Girl 2010."

According to, Kenly was busted for underage drinking in 2006. The arrest took place in Lake Havasu, Ariz.
